main agents unhelpful in taking our old but nice car in part exchange. We

"I call on Harfields once. a week to conduct warranty business with him.
So he knew that I was soon in the market for another car as my existing one
had covered 100,000 miles. He knew the sort of car I was looking for. So one
day he said ' I have a car for you come this way'. He led me to a smart
Mercedes which I immediately protested I could not afford, and if I could it
would have covered too many miles for me to contemplate. 'Wrong on both
accounts' smiled Alan. 'For once in your life do as you are told and sit in

dealing with the scurrilous end of the motor trade. and whist we have other
clients in the Horsham area, ! was pleased that Alan had this car in stock
as I have always found him to be a fair and reasonable man. I also know that
Alan personally road tests them too, before they are put on sale.
Personally, I would not buy a car from any dealer other than one of our
clients. Am I pleased? You betcha!"

We visited Harfields as they had a Renault Be-bop which we wanted to buy
for our sons birthday as his first car. We spoke to Alan Wells and we were
impressed with the fact he agreed to fully service the car, issue 12 months
warranty and put it into storage for 6 weeks. At the due date we went to
pick it up. All the work had been carried out and it was ready to go. We
were impressed with the efficiency and Mr Wells offered to spend time with
our son going through the essentials of the car maintenance etc. It wasn't
the dearest car in the world but they did a great job!"
